The Florida Cleft and Craniofacial Network
The State of Florida Children's Medical Services, in partnership with the University of Florida Craniofacial Center, has a goal to meet the needs professions may have in working with children who have facial differences and their families. The program can assist hospitals and families in obtaining specially designed bottles and nipples for feeding, provide them with informational materials, and incorporate them as part of the family network. It can also provide a list of treatment centers closest to their community. The program can arrange specialists from Craniofacial Centers to come to your hospital and present a short seminar on feeding and care for children who were born with cleft lip/palate or other craniofacial problems. All of these service are free of charge.
