CAMP NEWS
The 2004 Craniofacial Camp held June 4-6, 2004 and hosted by Nova Southeastern University at Davie, Florida was reportedly a huge success. 30 families and lots of "family pals" interacted to break the ice and thoroughly enjoy themselves. It was action from beginning to end. Games, vollyball, water balloon fights, crafts, dancing, a visit with the Dolphins football team, wonderful food, and more filled this exciting event. Arthur & Shelley Green deserve a lot of credit for organizing and producing the camp, which was, by all reports, the best so far!

The UF Craniofacial Speech Camp was held June 14-17 at beautiful Camp Montgomery in Keystone Heights, FL. 11 campers from all over FL attended for intensive speech therapy or definitive diagnosis. 6 hours of therapy per day was incorporated into archery, crafts, swimming and games with a staff of 3 SLPs, one ARNP, 7 graduate students and several junior counselors. Activities included methods of taking ideas home to parents and therapists via on-line journals. To attend the overnight camp, children should be at least 6 years old, have a craniofacial diagnosis without behavior problems and be in need of intensive therapy.
