Each wine offered for this event was carefully selected by our Boisset Ambassador to showcase quality, variety, and value.

JCB 2020 Nº 5 Rosé, a brilliant, rose-petal pink color with purple nuances, has a delicate nose with scents of red berries, citrus, and spicy white blossoms. Soft and delectable on the palate, it features floral notes and flavors of white fruit and has remarkable balance and a fresh finish. The grapes for this Rosé are grown in diverse soil, which creates its elegance and complexity. Limestone brings purity and minerality, sandstone conveys the fruit, and the rich clay gives it depth and structure.
This 2019 JCB Chardonnay, “the Eye,” features luxurious aromas of vibrant lemon rind, asian pears, and French vanilla. Its first encounter on the palate introduces enticing notes of ripe golden pears and fresh honeysuckle; it ends in an elegant, well-balanced finish. The Chardonnay grapes for this wine are grown in California’s Russian River Valley. They are aged entirely in oak barrels, which impart flavor and give the wine depth, body, and complexity.
When tasting the 2018 JCB Pinot Noir, you will enjoy its subtle notes of pepper, black cherry, cardamom — and just a hint of shiitake mushroom. As the flavors traverse your palate, tart cherry notes succumb to an essence of rich, spiced persimmon. Burgundian in style, this bright Pinot Noir evokes the memory of long walks in the autumn woods. Grapes for this wine are grown on California’s Sonoma Coast, and they are aged in oak.
Deep red in the glass, this 2019 JCB zinfandel, “Daring,” opens with a robust, yet delicate, bouquet of dark fruit notes. On the palate, hints of cinnamon complement jammy flavors of boysenberry and blackberry. This well-structured wine leaves a long-lasting, lingering finish. Grown exclusively in Sonoma County, California, the grapes for this Zinfandel are aged twelve months in oak barrels. It pairs well with grilled lamb, goat cheese, and medium-body cheeses.
This 2019 JCB red blend, “Femininity,” opens with enticing aromas of baked blueberry pie and includes a touch of ripe plum and orange zest. On the palate, this blend features alluring flavors of boysenberry, dark cherry, fig, and a hint of cassis and nutmeg. Soft and subtle tannins lead to a long, luxurious finish. The varietals in this Napa Valley red wine include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petite Syrah, and Petite Verdot.
On the nose, this JCB Cabernet Sauvignon has hints of baked blueberry, cherry, and praline, with notes of vanilla and licorice. On the palate, it introduces savory red and black fruit flavors with tobacco leaf, crème de cassis, and hints of hazelnut and loamy earth — all followed by seamless tannins and a polished finish. This decadent Cabernet Sauvignon from Knights Valley, California, is aged 18 months in oak barrels and pairs with a wide variety of dishes, from tri-tip to eggplant parmesan.
